With a degree in Graphic Design and Communication, Nuno Alecrim explores the visual arts with the knowledge and techniques he has accumulated over the years. He draws inspiration from nature and ancient civilisations. In his work, he combines textures and patterns in experimental compositions. The majority of his work is monochrome, which is due to his training as a graphic designer combined with a bridge to the primitive and rudimentary.
