Police Sergeant Dimpfelmoser of the graffiti investigation group explains:
In the years 2007 to 2010, the accused MOSES and TAPS swapped their pseudonyms. With the help of an unknown number of other people involved, they graffitied 1,000 passenger carriages over a period of 1,000 days. In May 2011 they published their exploits in the illustrated book INTERNATIONAL TOPSPRAYER™.
However, since no evidence of perpetratorship could be derived from the book, the investigation into this matter had to be finally stopped after ten years due to the statute of limitations in accordance with Section 78 of the Criminal Code.
After the statute of limitations has expired, MOSES & TAPS now comprehensively admits all allegations in the case in words and pictures with the book TOPSPRAYER EXPIRED™. The suspects also supplement the allegations with previously unknown photographs and descriptions of the crime. In addition, several hundred previously unreported graffiti crimes, especially from 2011 and 2012, are documented.
