“MR KREME” or ‘Andy’ Varagun Chongthanapipat (born in 1993), a Thai-Hong Kong artist who fell head over heels for the enchantment of art since childhood. Rewind to the moment when decisions about university majors loomed, ‘Art’ was an option that seemed uncertain and precarious in the eyes of many. Andy faced societal pressure nudging him towards a more ‘secure’ professional path. However, fueled by his passion for art, he sought a career that could still allow him to indulge in the joy of drawing – Industrial Design. Determined to follow this unconventional path, Andy furthered his studies at Pratt Institute, delving into the realm of Industrial Design (MID) for his Master’s degree.
